A two-round innovation sprint that turns a raw problem statement into a working solution — judged, live, on the floor.
Ideathon is Aavishkar Manthan's flagship technical event — a platform for participants to showcase groundbreaking ideas and sharpen them into real solutions.
The event is designed to spark a whirlwind of creativity, offering a dynamic stage for teams to unveil concepts with genuine potential to move their field forward. It's judged by industry practitioners and academics who push participants to defend both the problem and the solution.
Open to student teams from any institution with an idea worth defending in front of a room — no prior startup experience required, just a problem you actually care about solving.
A captivating non-technical event, giving participants a stage to eloquently express thought, perspective and personality.
Elocution is Aavishkar Manthan's non-technical flagship — a riveting platform for participants to think fast, speak sharper, and hold a room.
Round one runs through five distinct sub-rounds, each testing a different facet of communication and creativity, before narrowing to a single, high-stakes final: The Debate — where minds clash and ideas soar.
Open to student teams from any institution — no technical background needed, just sharp thinking and the nerve to speak up.
A morning march in partnership with NSS MCE — turning footsteps into a message about sustainability.
The Walkathon is Aavishkar Manthan's morning awareness event — organised in collaboration with the National Service Scheme (NSS) of MCE Hassan.
The route runs from MCE Hassan to the Hemavathi statue, followed by a street play performed by the MCE cultural team, highlighting the importance of saving the green planet. In its previous edition, nearly 2,000 participants joined the walk.
Beyond the walk itself, the event is built to spark conversation — using a street performance to carry a sustainability message to everyone along the route, on and off campus.
The grand finale of Aavishkar Manthan — music, culture and community around the fire at the Heragu Amphitheatre.
Held in collaboration with the MCE cultural team, Bonfire serves as the closing chapter of Aavishkar Manthan — set against the backdrop of the Heragu Amphitheatre.
As the flames rise and the night deepens, the outdoor evening brings participants together for music, laughter, and unforgettable moments — a fitting close to two days of competition and community.
Expect live performances, cultural acts and an open, informal atmosphere — the one part of Aavishkar Manthan built purely for celebration.
